Dave Preston, Tennis Director

Dave Preston is currently the Director of Tennis at Countryside Club in Clearwater, Florida, a 14 court facility where he is responsible for their extensive calendar of social events, tournaments, league play and camps. Dave has an incredible amount of experience coaching at various country clubs throughout the USA where he has been involved in coaching and training players of all levels from beginners, tournament level juniors to adults.

Dave has also spent time coaching at Van Der Meers Tennis Center in South Carolina as well as two seasons as Assistant Coach to the Men’s Tennis Team at Furman University. While at Furman University Dave coached, trained and travelled with the team to tournaments throughout the USA. He also coached private and group lessons while at Furman University.

Dave’s knowledge extends to coaching and conducting camps of all levels including both day camps, clinics and week long live-in camps at Furman University. Dave has passed on his knowledge to many of the up and coming coaches throughout his coaching career.

Dave has spent many hours coaching players in both private and group lessons throughout the world and his addition to our GSC Team will be of great benefit.

He has spent the majority of his coaching career working in country clubs in England, Texas and Florida. We are thrilled to have Dave join our team and pass on his tennis experience and knowledge.
